General Code Review Including Major Changes The 2008 National Electrical Code?? Council implemented code revisions including:

• Article 110-Arc Flash Labeling now required in multi-family dwellings
• Article 210-AFCI for all outlets in dwelling units to include the entire house
• Article 410-Luminaries with double-ended lamps require individual disconnects
• Article 250-Consistency in Grounding and Bonding terminology
• Article 626-Electrical connections for "big rig" parking spaces
• Article 708-Electrical installation, operation, supervision, and maintenance of critical operations power systems to meet Federal Guidelines for disaster areas

• Fundamentals of grounding and bonding
• To ground or not to ground
• Sizing Grounded conductor
• Grounding of electrical systems, electrical services, and separately derived systems,
• Service equipment and main bonding jumpers
• Bonding enclosures and equipment
• Equipment grounding conductors
• Enclosure and equipment grounding
