Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) Designation Program: 3-Day Review Class and Exam Training Seminar
Over 10,000 Americans turn 60 each day, one of the most profound demographic developments we have ever seen. Today's seniors face the real prospect of living longer than most ever imagined.
But living longer has special challenges. Because over 75% of the nation's wealth is controlled by seniors, it is vital to help them preserve their assets so that they don't outlive them. Thus, professionals are responding by becoming Certified Senior Advisors (CSAs).
The CSA Designation Program certifies that designees have broad-based knowledge of the health, social and financial issues that are important to the majority of seniors, and recognize the dynamics of these factors in seniors' lives.
Only if you understand what's important to seniors will you gain the essential credibility you need to gain their trust and business. When it comes to providing specific recommendations concerning their nest egg and future, seniors want someone who understands their needs, and you can demonstrate you have this knowledge with the CSA designation.
INSTRUCTION
Highly engaging, educational and interesting, the 3-day CSA review class is delivered by expert CSA faculty, who give 50-minute PowerPoint presentations on a wide range of topics from the CSA Textbook, Working with Seniors: Health, Financial and Social Issues. You'll also have the opportunity to experience SCSA's signature "Aging Demonstrations" and network with new people in and outside your area of professional expertise.
This class is an excellent opportunity for group study and review of the CSA course material that you studied independently prior to attending class, in final preparation for the CSA exam.

COURSE MATERIALS- Certified Senior Advisor Textbook
The 700-plus page Textbook, Working with Seniors: Health, Financial and Social Issues, is the foundation of the CSA Course. It is an easy-to-use, on-the-job reference guide that you can count on as a valuable resource long after you've earned your designation. Key features include:
- 23 chapters that explore the key health, financial and social issues that most impact seniors' lives today - backed by solid research and illustrated with stories and examples
- Lists of resources particularly helpful for seniors that CSAs can draw on when serving their senior clients
- Strategies, guidelines and information on ethical marketing and business practices when working with seniors
- Participant Workbook
With about 300 review questions, the Participant Workbook helps candidates integrate the course material and prepare for the CSA exam. Review questions for each chapter consist of key terms and concepts, and multiple-choice items. Answers are provided in the Workbook.
- CDs with Faculty Videos
This set of CDs covers all 23 class PowerPoint lectures (50 minutes each) delivered by expert CSA faculty who were videotaped during a real class, with their PowerPoint presentations.
