Hazardous Waste Generation and Storage: Your Requirements Under RCRA; How To Stay Safe and Compliant Training Seminar

Subtitle C of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) establishes a federal program to manage hazardous waste in a manner that protects human health and the environment. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has implemented regulations and procedures under RCRA for the generation, transportation, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste, as well as technical standards for the design and safe operation of treatment, storage, and disposal facilities to minimize the release of hazardous waste into the environment.

Join us for a 90-minute webinar that will address the challenges companies face in meeting these requirements, and how to overcome them. Our expert will review the requirements, as well as best practices for both companies that generate hazardous waste and the employees who handle it.

You and your colleagues will learn:
  • The "cradle-to-grave" nature of the requirements for hazardous waste generators
  • How to determinine what your generator status is
  • The correct categorization of various types of hazardous waste
  • How to manage hazardous waste containers both at the point of generation and in the main accumulation area
  • Practical tips for preparing for an EPA audit
  • The most common violations committed by hazardous waste generators - and how to avoid them at your site
