Medical Practice Simulation Training Seminar
The MGMA Medical Practice Simulation is an educational tool that compresses three years of real-world, knowledge-building experiences into just five weeks. This rich simulation - full of stories, challenges, activities and information - tests critical-thinking skills and decision-making abilities. At an accelerated pace, participants acquire the skills, knowledge and management abilities that practice administrators need to continually improve performance and advance their organizations.
The simulation format allows you to experiment without the real-life repercussions of poor decisions. However, just like in the real world, once you've made your decisions (at the end of a round), you can't go back and change them; you can only move forward. Unlike most educational courses that focus on specific areas of practice management, this simulation models how decisions in one area of an organization affect other areas and overall practice performance.
The MGMA Medical Practice Simulation was developed in conjunction with Regis University in Denver. For a custom simulation for your organization, contact Mike Vaughan at Regis Learning Solutions.
