Training Camp's seven-day accelerated Sun Certified Java Programmer training program is an accelerated, residential, fully-immersed course, designed for programmers that require effective, real-world skill-building and timely certification. Training Camp is a Sun Microsystems Certified Partner authorized to deliver accelerated learning courses for Sun Microsystems in the United States.
This course will teach the fundamentals of the latest Java 2 Platform 6 Programming Language, with a focus on preparation for the SCJP (CX-310-065) certification exam.
Students will live, learn, and test on-site.
During the program, students will learn the syntax and structure of the Java programming language and to create Java applications that run on server and desktop systems using J2SE 5.0. Topics covered include:
- Create Java technology applications that leverage the object-oriented features of the Java language, such as encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism
- Use Java data-types and expressions
- Use Java flow control constructs
- Use arrays and other data collections including generics
