This intense course is designed to prepare CCIE??? candidates for the one-day Security "hands-on" lab exam. Over five days, candidates will solidify their existing knowledge, expose their weaknesses and gain vital test taking strategies. This class is designed for candidates who are within 6 months of their lab date.
The class does not cover introductory material and candidates are expected to have at a minimum a CCSP level knowledge of the topics covered in order to receive the full benefit of the class.
Delivered by IPexpert, GlobalNet's CCIE Security Boot Camp, each candidate will work through challenging scenarios on their own vRack of equipment led by an industry expert who will challenge you with various technologies and protocols that must be mastered prior to taking the CCIE??? Security Lab exam. With the one-day format it is critical that you master elements such as OSPF, BGP, PIX Firewalls, Certification Authority (CA), Internet Key Exchange (IKE), IPSec, Access Control Lists (ACLs), Authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA), Intrusion Detection, and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) prior to your lab attempt.
Each student will have access to their own POD of equipment consisting of 13 routers (with various ATM, ISDN, Frame Relay, Ethernet and Fast Ethernet interfaces), PIX 520 Firewall, ACS (with IDS Event Viewer), VPN 3005, IDS Sensor and 2 Catalyst??? 3550 Switches. Don't be fooled by our competition!
