Learn to design, plan, and configure a highly available cluster of IBM System
p nodes running AIX 5.3 using the High Availability Cluster Multiprocessing (HACMP)
5.4 software.
Get an introduction to the basic concepts, design, and planning
considerations and examine the steps necessary to configure the HACMP 5.4
startup, fallover, and fallback behavior policies. The lectures and labs are
based on HACMP V5.4.

cluster on an IBM System p server running AIX 5L V5.3 or later.

Pre-requisites |

You should complete:
- AIX 5L System Administration II: Problem Determination (AU160)
Ideally, you should be skilled as an:
- IBM eServer Certified Specialist - pSeries AIX System Support or
- IBM eServer Certified Specialist - pSeries AIX System Administration
You should have TCP/IP, Logical Volume Manager (LVM) storage, and disk
hardware implementation skills.
