VoWLAN (Voice over Wireless LAN v1.0) Training Seminar
Plan, deploy, and manage enterprise WLAN using lightweight access points,
controllers, and the advanced feature set.
Through instructor-led training and instructor-assisted, hands-on labs, learn to
effectively design, deploy, and troubleshoot a Voice over Wireless LAN (VoWLAN)
solution. This course builds on the foundational skills taught in Cisco Wireless
LAN Fundamentals (CWLF) and Cisco Voice over IP (CVOICE), with emphasis on
developing skills using Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7920 and VoWLAN
endpoints, site survey, wireless infrastructure, security, call control, and
troubleshooting.
To participate in the hands-on labs, please bring a laptop computer
running either Windows 2000 (SP4) or XP with an available 32-bit Cardbus slot,
an Ethernet port, and either a 9-pin serial port or USB-to-serial adapter. You
must have administrator rights to the laptop to install drivers for the wireless
client used in class.
