There are two MCPD certification paths:

Professional Developer: Web Developer

You will have the skills necessary to create rich client applications that target the Windows Forms platform using the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.

	Pre-requisites
	Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD): Windows Developer candidates are required to contain a current valid MCAD certification in addition to the following experience: Candidates should have at least two years of experience developing Microsoft Windows-based applications by using the Microsoft .NET Framework. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Visual Studio 2005. Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD): Web Developer candidates are required to contain a current valid MCAD certification in addition to the following experience: Candidates should have at least two years of experience developing applications by using the Microsoft .NET Framework. Candidates should have at least three to four years of on-the-job experience dedicated to Web application development.

Comments

Existing MCAD certification candidates must pass one certification exam to earn MCPD: Windows Developer certification and one certification exam to earn MCPD: Web Developer. The exams provide a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise. During the MCPD Upgrade Training Camp, students will take the following exams:
