The Purpose and Design of the Study Guide
The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH Act) of 1970 was passed by Congress to protect, as far as possible, all workers in the U.S. OSHA or, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, was instituted by the OSH Act under the Department of Labor and was authorized to regulate health and safety conditions with few exceptions.
The purpose of this study guide is to provide a thorough review of the 360training OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach Course. Each module corresponds to those in the series and contains bulleted highlights, followed by a practical case study, a case study safety recommendations segment, a practice quiz and a note taking section.
