The five process groups of project management: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling and closing are covered as well as the nine knowledge areas: integration, scope, time, cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Risk, Procurement and Professional and Social Responsibility. If sitting for the PMP Exam appropriate work and education pre-requisites should be completed. This includes at a minimum 3 years project management experience (4500 hours within that time frame) and a bachelor degree. If a bachelor degree is not available the experience requirement is increased to 60 months and 7500 hours. |
