PROGRAM DETAILS: During this certificate program, your instructors will demonstrate real-life Storyline examples along with the tools, tips, and tricks that allow you to stretch and push the limits of Storyline’s interactivity, creative visual effects, custom navigation, and complex quizzing.
PREREQUISITES: This certificate program is for those who are moderately experienced using Storyline to develop eLearning. A solid understanding of eLearning and of Storyline’s features and functions is required. We recommend that you complete our Articulate Storyline Fundamentals Certificate program prior to registering for this program.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: The certificate is for those who are familiar with the basic features of Storyline such as story view, scenes, slides, layers, triggers, the timeline, importing assets, and creating simple quizzes and interactions.

Chief NuggetHead/NuggetHead Studioz. Kevin Thorn is an award-winning eLearning designer with over 20 years’ experience in the training industry. After retiring from the Army as a trainer, Kevin earned a Technology Management degree in pursuit of an IT career. When his interest in technology mashed with his passion for visual design along with his experience in training, he founded NuggetHead Studioz, LLC. The Studioz is a custom design and development company providing services in instructional design, storyboarding, eLearning development, Articulate Storyline training, illustration, graphic design, storytelling, cartooning and comics.
Technical Requirements
If you don't have a licensed copy of Articulate Storyline, you must download a complimentary trial version prior to the start of the course at: https://www.articulate.com/products/storyline-why.php. The current trial version is Storyline 2 but if you already have Storyline 1 installed, you can still participate in this certificate by downloading Storyline 2 trial version. The two versions are independent of each other and both can be installed on the same computer. While Storyline 2 can support anything in Storyline 1, you will find that Storyline 2 has quite a few new features.
Already using Articulate Storyline and not sure if you have Storyline 1 or 2?
Start by locating your license/serial number by right clicking on your desktop link for Articulate Storyline, then choose ‘properties’ and it should say ‘Articulate Storyline’ (if you currently use Storyline 1) or ‘Articulate Storyline 2’ (if you currently use Articulate Storyline2.) Still can’t find it? Please contact the Articulate directly for assistance at support@Articulate.com.
Your trial period for this software is 30 days from the time you install. Therefore, we recommend that you install the trial version no more than one or two days prior to the first session. This allows you a few weeks to practice after the last session.
NOTE TO MAC USERS: Articulate Storyline is a Windows-based program. Currently there is no version specifically for a Mac. However, you can run Storyline on a Mac with Parallels, Boot Camp, or VMware Fusion virtual machine. Please contact us if you have questions.

Use Storyline to design both performance support tools (learn on need) and priority learning (must learn).
Leverage Storyline’s robust audio and video features to bring your learning content to life.
Use variables to design rich interactions and simulations.
Design complex quizzes and custom results screens.
Create custom interactions, including: drag and drop, hide-reveal, rollovers, and more.

Each session is 3 hours in length. The first two hours are instructor-led and online. The third hour is an online facilitated lab where participants can work on their assignments with the support of the instructor. Participants will also have access to the instructor via email for additional support after each session and for the duration of the certificate program.
