Course Description
his course prepares you for the exam leading to the Change Management Practitioner Certification.
Being able to develop and implement effective change initiatives is paramount to ensuring ongoing business success. “To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often”, said Winston Churchill. We are repeatedly made aware of the fact that change is the only constant in business and perfecting the art of change management can be a challenge in any organization.
This certification course builds on the essentials of Change Management presented in the Organizational Change Management Foundation course. The valuable knowledge base offered with this next course in the program enables participants to apply many proven approaches and techniques to “real world” change processes.
ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE MANAGEMENT (OCM) CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
The OCM program consists of two courses as defined by APMG International: 3 day Foundation and 2 day Practitioner. The Foundation course is a prerequisite for the Practitioner level course. Click here for the Foundation Course description, and course dates/locations.
This certification program is accredited by APMG International and based on the professional “Body of Knowledge” (CMBok) from the Change Management Institute (CMI).
In addition, the courses are approved under the Association for Change Management Professionals (ACMP) Qualified Education Provider (QEP) program as aligning to the ACMP’s Standard for Change Management and adult education best practices. The QEP program is aligned with the Certified Change Management Professional™ (CCMP™) credential.
