Course Description
Know what’s covered, what’s not, and what accommodations your organization needs to provide
More and more employees are requesting accommodations for mental illness under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its Amendments Act (ADAAA). It’s absolutely vital that you understand exactly what’s covered and how to balance your organization’s responsibilities with your employees’ rights. You’re required to make a reasonable accommodation but what does that mean and what kinds of mental illness and depression are actually covered?
Make sure everyone in your organization is treated fairly and your organization is protected.
When you attend Mental Illness & Depression Under the ADA, you’ll learn what to do when an employee requests accommodation what’s covered under the ADA and even how to address the mental illnesses that aren’t, but may be a subject of concern for you or your employees.
This training is critical for all HR professionals.
If you’re in HR, you need to make sure you stay current with the latest ADA laws regarding Mental Illness & Depression Under the ADA. In just one hour, you’ll get the most up-to-date information and be confident you know what is expected and required of your organization.
