Upper Layer Network Operations Training Seminar
This course focuses on upper layer network operations. You will gain experience with key client/server-based network services by installing, configuring, and observing the services within UNIX and Windows environments. These services include name services, configuration services, and security and authentication services; file access services, as well as monitoring and messaging services. Students will also learn how to build key components, including an NFS (Network File System) environment and a CIFS (Common Internet File System) environment. The concentration is on industry standard protocols.
