ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Steve Teplinsky is a partner and a member of the Management Committee at law firm Michael, Best & Friedrich in Chicago. His primary focus is on employment litigation before courts, administrative agencies and arbitrators. He also works with clients on preventative measures, developing and implementing policies and counseling on day-to-day employment issues. Mr. Teplinsky has argued more than 75 appeals in various State and Federal Appellate Courts on a wide variety of matters. He served as an instructor and adjunct professor at both the Chicago-Kent College of Law and The John Marshall Law School. Mr. Teplinsky frequently presents speeches, seminars and training sessions on numerous employment law topics, including sexual harassment, hiring, termination, contingent workforce, FMLA and American with Disabilities Act and Best Practices for Employers.
