Sexual Harassment - California Edition: Recognizing Harassment Training Seminar
Hello, my name is Adrienne Edmondson. For the last 25 years, I have worked with, consulted with companies on sexual harassment issues, and resolved sexual harassment claims in California and across the United States. Sexual Harassment is a violation of the Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. No one should have to encounter any type of harassment. Sexual harassment is demeaning to anyone and is illegal.
In this training, you will come to understand why sexual harassment is illegal. Sexual harassment will be defined and the effects of this act will be brought to your attention. You will learn to recognize sexual harassment behaviors and the factors associated with this act. Finally, you will learn to take action against sexual harassment whether it is a co-worker, subordinate, or you. You will also test what you've learned and assess your level of knowledge in this particular matter.
The one thing you should take away from this training is that it is wrong to harass or sexually harass anyone. Sexual harassment is everyone's responsibility and if it is not dealt with in an effective manner, it can cost you personally and your company time and money.
