This course provides education and training for individuals who wish to become certified by an international certifying organization as a mold inspector. Mold Inspection Certification course allows you to work as a mold inspector in all 50 states as well as around the world. It should be noted, however, that mold inspection is presently not regulated by state or federal agencies. The training materials you receive fully prepare you to perform even your first inspection with complete confidence. Upon successful completion of the Certification Exam, you will receive a Certificate and a Certification plastic ID card. Certification allows you to use your certification designation of IAQCP, IECC, IECI, IEMC, or MICP on letterhead, business cards and marketing materials.
Those who have been granted IIAQC credentials must demonstrate an ongoing professional commitment to the field of indoor air quality or mold inspection by satisfying continuing education requirements. To maintain certification you must accumulate 2 continuing education credits during a certification year. CE credits can be earned from continual work in the IAQ field and attending seminars.
Once the application has been reviewed and payment processed, a Certification Study Guide in .pdf format is sent for the certification you have requested. The Study Guide contains all the information you need for passage of your certification examination. You will also receive your personal access code to the Exam-on-Demand website. You may take the on-line exam at any time, at your convenience, 24 hours a day.
The certification examinations are timed, and contain multiple choice and true/false questions. The exams are "open book". The different certification exams range from 75 - 125 questioins. A score of 80% is required for passage of the exams. Sample questions for the IAQCP exam can be reviewed below. Examination scores are confidential. Individuals who do not pass the exam may take it again.
