The goal of this course is to cover Web services and enhancing the functionality of Web applications by using ASP.NET.
The first unit introduces the concept of Web services. The student learns to call and use a Web service and to create a Web service using Microsoft Visual Basic.
The second unit covers enhancing Web application functionality. Technologies such as state maintenance, caching, and authentication, are covered. The learner has the opportunity to deploy an ASP.NET application.
