The .NET Framework supports updated versions of both the ADO.NET and .NET Remoting technologies provided by Microsoft. Remoting allows interprocess communication between applications on separate computers, while the ADO.NET technology is used to create, edit, and update data that is stored in a wide variety of formats. This project addresses enabling remoting in a Visual Basic application and working with data stored in a SQL Server database.
