Unit 1 Overview and Objectives Basics and Definitions - The trainee will be introduced to the most important points of a task definition. Defining a Specific Task - The trainee will learn how to create a task. Event - Basics - The trainee will learn how event linkage works. Event Creators and Event Receivers - The trainee will be introduced to the relationship between event creators and event receivers. Linkage Table - The trainee will see where the event linkage is stored in the SAP System. Container - The trainee will learn that a workflow cannot be executed without a suitable container and binding definition. Binding - The trainee will be introduced to bindings within workflows. Example of a Binding - Using the example of changing a material master, the trainee will see how a binding works. Defining a Single-Step Workflow - The trainee will define the notification of absence workflow. Event Simulation - The trainee will be shown how the workflow that was just defined actually works. Executing and Testing the Workflow - The trainee will learn how to execute a workflow and will be introduced to the testing tools. Container Monitor - The trainee will learn how to apply diagnostic tools and use the Container Monitor. Unit 1 Summary Post Assessment Unit 2 Overview and Objectives Basics - The user will learn the steps involved in defining a workflow. Graphical Editor - The user will be introduced to the central tool of the workflow definition, the graphical editor. Fast Implementation - The user will learn how to define a workflow quickly and simply. Notification of Absence Scenario - The user will learn how to implement the Notification of Absence business process with a workflow. Defining Single-Step Tasks - The user will learn how to create the single-step tasks required for the scenario. Defining the Complete Workflow - The user creates the entire workflow scenario. Starting the Workflow - The user will be shown the effect of the workflow definition at runtime. Monitoring Workflow and Analyzing Errors - The user will learn how to monitor the workflow and analyze errors that occur. Other Options - The user will be introduced to further analysis tools that can be used to evaluate workflows. Unit 2 Summary Post Assessment
