Description

The interaction between a cloud environment and the existing network/administrative policies is one of the most challenging management issues to resolve. This is the domain of cloud administrators. They configure and maintain the cloud platform—and have to understand and master all aspects regarding cloud provisioning. The Cloud Administrator course enables Network, Systems, and Database Administrators to effectively operate in the cloud. This 3-day training program provides a hands-on, practical approach to cloud provisioning for administrators and touches upon all the aspects of administering cloud services. The training covers best practices on cloud administration, supported by many Vendor technology solutions, covering Open Source and major Vendor Standards. This is a professional level course, and relevant to professionals with at least 2-5 years of experience as an Administrator. The course prepares candidates for the Professional Cloud Administrator Certification (PCA).

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites. However, it is recommended that participants have attained the Cloud Technology Associate Certification (or its equivalent) from the Cloud Credential Council, and/or that participants are conversant with cloud concepts and vocabulary.

Cancellations:

Standard and Professional Desktop Application & Professional Development classes may be cancelled or rescheduled by the client at least four (4) business days in advance without penalty. A full credit (no refunds) will be applied to future training on all cancelled classes that meet the above-stated criteria. A cancellation fee equal to the course fee will be incurred if a student provides less than 4 days’ notice for any Standard or Professional Desktop Applications, or Professional Development Skills class cancellations. Technical courses or Private classes may be cancelled or rescheduled (no refunds) greater than two weeks in advance without charge. The client is responsible for 50% of the class fee if a technical or private class is canceled or rescheduled within two weeks of the class date, and full price if the course is canceled or rescheduled within one week of the class date.
