Version
This course is taught using Microsoft Office 2016, which covers versions 2013 and 2016, as well as the interface with Office 365.
Course Overview
This course is intended to enable the typical student, educator, or business user of a desktop version of Microsoft Office (2007 or later) to productively use the key components of the Microsoft Office OneNote application on a desktop, laptop, or Microsoft Windows 8/8.1/10 tablet device, when working in or away from the primary office or study environment.
This course also provides the basic skills needed to organize your home and office. Focal points include the organization of information, time, and communication. Outlook and Windows 8.1/10 will be the primary tools used, with an introduction to OneDrive and integration of OneNote.
Course Objectives
In this course, you will develop digital note-taking, note-collaboration, and note synchronizing skills with Microsoft OneNote, which will allow you to create and update notes; manage lists and outlines; search; add content including voice memos, pictures, and video; take notes in online meetings; and interact with other Microsoft software programs.

Target Audience
This course is intended for individuals from a variety of fields who want to learn to organize and manage their skills so that they can perform more effectively. The audience includes students, educators, business users, and knowledge workers in a variety of roles and fields who have competence in a desktop-based installation of the Microsoft Office productivity suite, and who are now incorporating digital note-taking and note collaboration with Microsoft OneNote into their organizational regimen.
