C# C-SHARP

C#, or C Sharp, is a programming language defined by object-oriented design, strong typing, simplicity and multi-purpose use. Microsoft developed C# within the .NET framework, and the language was influenced by other object-oriented languages like Java, Pascal and C++.

While C# was designed to improve C++ and Java, and is type safe and provides for functions those two languages do not, such as operator overloading, it is sometimes criticized as a clone of both.
