This online course provides knowledge to all facility and vessel personnel with respect to the security of a facility and/or vessel. Upon completion of this course, participants will have met training requirements as defined by 33CFR 104.225 and 105.215, and Parts B13.4 and B18.3 of the ISPS Code.
1. Familiarity with relevant provisions of the FSP and VSP. 2. The meaning and the consequential requirements of the different security levels. 3. Recognition and detection of weapons, dangerous substances and devices. 4. Knowledge of the emergency procedures and contingency plans. 5. Recognition of characteristics and behavioral patterns of persons who are likely to threaten security. 6. Techniques used to circumvent security measures.
