Course Description
VMware – vSphere 5.1 with XenDesktop
Introduction
VMware
vSphere with XenDesktop provides you the most direct hands-on experience course
in the industry. Learn from instructors with real world experience how things
are really done through back to back labs. If you are looking to truly walk
away with product knowledge, design, enterprise architecture, troubleshooting
skills and plenty of hands on, the VMware vSphere with XenDesktop is for you. Learn
product knowledge covering VMware
vSphere ESXi 5.1, vCenter Server 5.1, Storage, Virtual Networking, Update
Manager, VMotion, Storage VMotion, Host Profiles, Managing VMware Roles, Upgrading and many
other technologies related to the VMware Product line. Students will also learn
how to select a desktop delivery model for each user group based on their
needs, build proof-of-concept and production XenDesktop environments, assign
virtual desktops to users and customize the user experience through policies.
The course provides instruction on how to build a Provisioning services farm to
enable single-image desktop management, and how to host virtual machines on the
client device using Citrix XenClient as well.
