Ted Bach

A Safety and Occupational Health Specialist, Ted Bach has invaluable experience from a broad spectrum of areas, including the military, construction and general industry. Ted teaches the kind of practical knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations that can only come from firsthand experience.
He conducts safety program evaluations for corporations across America including analyzing safety and health risks, assessing organizational commitment and employee involvement, and effectiveness at preventing or controlling hazards. He has managed the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) for the U.S. Department of Labor, monitored the OSHA Discretionary Grants Program, and served as the regional OSHA recordkeeping coordinator.
A graduate of Kansas State University, Ted holds degrees in Educational Psychology and Guidance and Counseling, plus course work in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. And his master’s thesis, “A Study In Risk-Taking Behavior,” makes him a perfect source of information for why your employees continue to exhibit risky behavior on the job — and how to snap them out of it.
