Ruby on Rails Training

Ruby on Rails, or simply known as Rails, is a framework for web development using the programming language Ruby. Rails is considered to a be a "full stack" framework, which means software designers have full control of how the web server for which they are coding gathers and uses information. Many popular websites like Twitter, Groupon and Hulu use Ruby on Rails for their web design. And the language is open source, so anyone can apply it to their development projects for the internet.

Because of its architecture and dynamic, flexible nature, Ruby and Ruby on Rails are also excellent for use in agile development. Rails lends itself to fast-paced design and robust programs. However, it's designed solely for use on the web, and output can only be in HTML or XML format.

Ruby and Rails are object-oriented programing languages, which separate data and the rest of a program in their design in order to speed the process. Other examples of OOP languages include Scala, Java, Emerald and Smalltalk.

Programmers, especially those working in web design, would highly benefit from TrainUp's Ruby on Rails courses. They can learn the basics of Rails, or more complex aspects of the language, such as security and creating AJAX interactions.
